Hi I'm Jeff

I'm a student, a brother, a friend, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a happy, fun-loving guy. I like to bike, sing, spend time with family, and learn. I've recently returned from serving a full-time mission in Curitiba, Brazil - the best experience of my life! I come from a family of six. I'm currently a student of BYU, where I'm hoping to enter into the mechanical engineering program, and someday go into aeronautical engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, I'm a Mormon because I know that it's true. Simply enough, the Spirit answered my prayers as I honestly sought the truth, and so I am following that. I've grown up with the church my entire life; my parents were members before I was born. However, there comes a time in our lives when all of us really need to decide for ourselves what is truth. Instead of relying on answers from others, even my parents, I relied on God. After I studied it out in my mind, I put the question to God, with faith, and he responded. So I know that this church is true, and that the principles taught therein are therefore also true.

How I live my faith

I try to live my life in a way that everyone who sees me can recognize me as a person who has taken the name of Christ upon me - a true Christian. To me that means treating everyone with respect, being honest and upright in all my interactions and with myself, and always looking out for opportunities to serve and help others. I'm not perfect, but I seek to become so one day through following Christ's gospel all the days of my life, and helping others to do the same.
