Hi I'm Neal

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Father of 2, one girl, age 2 and one boy, age 8mnts. Been married 13 years to my wonderful wife. We live in Tennessee. I am a web developer and I enjoy tinkering with technology.

Why I am a Mormon

Before my wife and I committed ourselves to the lord we had lots of problems and were on the verge of a divorce. I was out of work for a second time in 3 years and I was in a lowly place in my life. My world was collapsing around me and I could not hold it together. I got down on my knees and prayed to Heavenly Father for guidance and for help. I asked him where I should be in my life and what I should be doing with it and I asked for help with my marriage. I got up and did not think anything about it after that. The next day I get a knock on the door and I opened it to find the missionaries. I knew right then that the lord had answered my prayers and that his desire was for me to return to him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith the best I can. It is sometimes hard to be committed but I work on improving myself each day. I am a shy person by nature and it is sometimes hard for me to talk to strangers about my love of Christ and the changes he has made in my life. Through visiting members of my church and talking to them during my home-teaching visits it has made it easier to talk about my beliefs. I hold a calling in the church. I visit my families I am assigned to for hometeaching each month. I hold the priesthood and I lead my family in our spiritual education. Spiritual education is very important for me. With the way the world is today I want to provide my children with the skills and knowledge on how to fight unmoral temptation and to live their lives with the principals of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
