Hi I'm Karlie

Student, homemaker, wife, mother, I am a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I am Karlie. I am a wife to the most incredible man... for almost five years, and a mother to the cutest little one year old! We recently moved 3000 miles from home to attend school. I am loving staying at home and being able to watch my little one grow. I love to attempt to be crafty, and love to quilt. I am currently finishing the degree I started... before the little guy came! I like to be active, play sports, and chase my boy around the house!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church by loving parents who loved the gospel. It was through their example and their testimonies I was able to learn more. From a young age, I was very fortunate to have the knowledge that I had a Heavenly Father, who loved me personally. He knew me! I have had many experiences in my life that only strengthened my knowledge of this! After I had my little boy, this truth was the most real it had ever been. The love I felt from Him was overwhelming. He trusted Me enough, to take care of one of his children and raise him in this world! I knew it, and I felt this very real love! I am so grateful for this church! I am so grateful for the focus it has on family! I am grateful for the knowledge that we will be together forever! I am grateful for the Book of Mormon, and the boy Joseph Smith who was willing to follow what he knew was right. I know it is true! I know that we have a loving brother, who made the ultimate sacrifice, on my behalf. I know this is true!

How I live my faith

I think I have the best calling in the ward!! I am the Nursery Leader! I get to teach kids from 18 months to 3 years the gospel in its simplest form. I tell you though, these kids come packed with knowledge already. It is their simple testimonies that make it so worth it! I feel like I learn more than I can ever teach them! Did I mention snack time and play time?! ;)
