Hi I'm Ruby

I'm from the Philippines and will be serving a mission soon. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student. I am also a band member. I like singing and dancing so much! :-) I'm a friendly and outgoing person.. my friends also compliment me for having a good humor, which I'm not totally aware of. I'm just me.. what you see is what you get. :-)

Why I am a Mormon

My mother was a member since she was 19 and though my father is not a member, my siblings and I grew up in the church, and I'm very grateful for that. I'm glad I grew up with the teachings of the church where I was able to have a standard which other youth of my age outside the church don't have. Ever since I was aware of what the gospel really means, I have been blessed with so much knowledge on how to discern right from wrong. I know that this church is true and that Jesus Christ is our Redeemer and Creator and that He is one with our Heavenly Father. I know that Joseph Smith was called of God to restore the true gospel on earth for the benefit of man.

How I live my faith

I have a very deep faith in the Lord and I can say that through magnifying my calling, I am living my faith with pure love and charity. I am a teacher to the young women in our ward and I will also be serving a full-time mission soon.

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Baptisms for the dead are done for those who have died without having the chance to hear the gospel and obey the Lord's commandment to be baptized in His name and receive the Holy Spirit. Show more Show less
