Hi I'm Lisa.

I am a wife to a wonderful man, the mother to 5 delightful daughters. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have a University Degree, I spent 3 years running a nationwide business, and yet the most challenging and the most rewarding task I've ever been given is raising my 5 daughters. I believe motherhood is the most important role I could have in my life right now, and I do my best to be deliberate in how I raise and train my children. In addition to my home life, I enjoy serving on committees that influence my children's lives whether it be the School Council or as a 4-H Club Leader.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born and raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I still had to gain a personal testimony of the truthfulness of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ for myself. As I look back over my life, I am in awe at the prayers I've had answered, the blessings I've received, and the inspirations I've been given that have strengthened my relationship with my Savior Jesus Christ. I choose to stay on the path that I was born into because I know without a doubt that Jesus Christ lives, he wants me to return to live with him, and the only way for me to gain exaltation is through the principles and ordinances of His gospel.

How I live my faith

On Sundays, I attend church with my family and have the privilege of working with the children of our congregation. During the week on a family level we read scriptures and pray as a family, and have a weekly Family Home Evening where we spend time together and talk of spiritual things. I am fascinated by how much children know and understand about the scriptures! On a personal level, I study the scriptures, pray at least twice a day, and strive to serve those around me. I know of no greater joy that being in tune to the spirit and receiving inspiration on who and how to serve and making a difference in someone's life.
