Hi I'm Brett

I love golfing, cycling and reading. I treasure my wife and two boys more than anything. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the proud parent of two active, thriving boys. Being a parent is my highest calling. When I am not busy coralling my children, I love to bicycle, golf, read, eat out and watch movies. I own a small mortgage company. I love my job and the opportunities it affords me to work and help others. I live in a rural Idaho community and love driving by the corn and potato fields each day in my activities.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised by a long line of Mormons, but had to gain a knowledge and belief of the church's teachings independent of family and friends. I did this through careful study of the Book of Momon and through sincere prayer. After my own "conversion", I committed to living the principles of the gospel as best as I could. It's the best decision I've ever made. All the good things in my life have been a result of trying to live a Christlike life. I met my wife on a blind date and were married 5 short months later. We decided to raise our children by going to church everyweek and teaching them to live a Christlike life. We know that eventually they'll need to make their own choice in whether to live the gospel or not. I hope that we will teach them well through our example. I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I'm quite simple in my approach to living the principles of our faith. I go to church every Sunday. I pray everynight with my wife and our boys. We try to read the Bible and the Book of Mormon as consistently as possible as a family. I try to serve in our church and community as often as possible. I try to be as kind and generous as I can be. That's how I live my faith.
