Hi I'm Sebrina

Greetings! I became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in April of 2011. Hope you'll read my testimony!

About Me

I'm a 31 year old wife and mom. I became a member of the church in April 2011. I enjoy reading scriptures, music, arts & crafts and spending quiet time at home with my family and pets. I attend church at a ward surrounded by amazing and compassionate brothers and sisters. I love sharing my testimony and sharing the gospel. I have been a stay at home wife and mom for a while but i'm currently in college studying to be a Medical Lab Tech. I've just received the calling of 'Ward Missionary' so i'm excited about finding the balance of family, more involved gospel study, mission work and school :) I am very passionate about the gospel of Jesus Christ and feel like sharing my testimony is one of the most important things I can do on this earth. Coming from a background of quite a few different denominations of Christianity, on would think it would be hard to come to know the gospel in it's fullness, when in fact, it's been very simple! Now that I have dedicated to the gospel of Jesus Christ, I have more love, patience and kindness in my heart than I have ever known. I look forward to talking to you! Thank you for hearing my story :)

Why I am a Mormon

I became interested in reading the Book of Mormon in late 2010. I felt more love and spirit in my heart, than I had ever felt, upon reading it. I began fervently praying, to know the truth. Guided by our Heavenly Father and the holy ghost, I came to know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and helped our Heavenly Father restore the true church in America. Since this revelation, I have become a very humble, reverent and patient person. I have a new outlook on mine and my families lives. I feel very blessed to have access to the scriptures and doctrines in their fullness. My life, is now centered around our Heavenly Father and his expectations and desires for me. I love the sense of family and importance of family that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints offers. I also love knowing that I can contribute to the spreading of the gospel of Jesus Christ by paying tithes to support missionaries, building developments, etc. I am happy to be a member or a church that has made my life so wholesome.

How I live my faith

I am currently a 'Ward Missionary' in my ward of the church. I also provide dinner (along with my family) to the full-time missionaries twice a month. I attend classes and meetings at church. I share the gospel and my testimony with everyone I can. I participate in activities with other members during my personal time. I participate in sacrament and studying the scriptures will my fellow brother and sisters at church. I choose to live my life in a way that is pleasing to our Heavenly Father by not participating in any activities that are morally wrong or harmful to myself or my family. Living this way has given me a wonderful sense of fulfillment :)

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Sebrina
We respect Joseph Smith, not worship him. We respect him in the aspect that he was used by our Heavenly Father to help restore the gospel of Jesus Christ on earth. We worship our Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
