Hi I'm Brooke Hughes

I'm a Mormon. I have been a member my whole life but I was converted, my heart was changed, when I was 19.

About Me

I grew up 4th in a family of 5 kids. I was the one who was teased and picked on, but at the same time my older brothers did step up and watch over me more than once throughout my life. My parents separated when I was 4 and divorced when I was 12. I was very involved with choir as I grew up and lived the typical high school life. When I was 19 I had a baby outside of marrige and chose to place her for adoption so that she could grow up with the kind of family that I didn't get to have. Going through that process I found out how precious life is and how much my Father in Heaven really knows and cares about each of us as individuals. He truly led me to where she needed to be and blessed me with peace in my tough choice. I met my husband a month after I placed her and we were married a year later. I have been blessed with 4 more kids whom I have the opportunity to watch grow. I have also been able to tell them every day that I love them. I look forward with eager anticipation for the day that I get to meet that baby girl again and tell her how much I have loved her and missed her all these years.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because it is impossible for me to deny truth when I come to know it in my heart. Life would be much more carefree if only I didnt have that knowledge, but with knowledge comes accountability. I have been at a crossroads in my life where I asked for help from my Heavenly Father and have recieved blessings beyond measure. How can I turn away from such love and care. I have been blessed with the knowledge of the truthfulness of the gospel and it has been confirmed to me over and over. I am a Mormon because my life is to serve my Father in Heaven and this is where he has called me to be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday. Everyone I know (hopefully) knows that I am Mormon and my goal is to help them know how much thier Father in Heaven loves them.
