Hi I'm Ron

I grew up in Switzerland. I am a trained architect with 4 grown-up children and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Having lived abroad for quite some time (France, Germany, Japan) I love to travel and to get to know different cultures. Whenever my busy schedule allows I do things with my 3 grand-sons here in Switzerland or with my Grand-children in Singapore. I still love my profession. As a trained architect I worked for the Mormon Church as the area architect for Europe. This was a challenging and rewarding time. Today I have my own office but preferr to spend time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the LDS faith when I was only 3 years old, so I practically grew up as a Mormon. But nobody can be an active member of this faith without having a personal testimony that this is the true Church of Jesus Christ. When I was a teenager I decided to do things differently - but only for one Sunday. After staying away from Church that day I felt very strongly that I should continue to follow Christ in this faith. That was 50 years ago. And I still know that this decision was right and good for me.

How I live my faith

Right after military service I was called to leave my family to serve as a mormon missionary in France. At that time I was a little older than most of my comrads which helped me a lot in making my own decisions and deciding how to serve the Lord Jesus Christ. Later as church area architect I had business with the most wonderful mormons all over Europe. I worked long hours but was rewarded with spiritual experiences that have formed my live. The Mormon Church has an Institute of Regligion where young adult members and friends of the Church join in discussions about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am very fortunate to lead such discussions almost every week.
