Hi I'm Emilio

I was born in Mexico. I love playing music and singing for the Lord and His children. I'm learning to help other to do the same.

About Me

I'm an avid student of both religion and electronics. Knowledge is a very precious treasure and I think the Lord has blessed me with a need and a constant hunger for it. Music is my passion, and I get really delighted and encouraged when I'm able to share a strengthening feeling or idea through music. I'm grateful for the blessing of a family. I'm not a parent yet, but I'm enduring in the right path to be a good parent, a good husband, a good friend and a good brother, as close as possible to the man my children (and my brothers and sisters) need and deserve. Writing is a long-acquired habit and I enjoy sailing on the wealth of written word. I thank God everyday for letting me learn a little more through this life and for all his love and for giving me the strength for fighting against the cancer.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I like challenges. And, please, don't get me wrong. Ever since I began to learn about the Gospel of Jesus Christ I am completely sure I started to know about myself too. To descover who I really am and what I am supposed to do on this Earth. I knew that the path was not going to be easy, that there would be plenty of obstacles and distractions. But I knew, too, that I was going to be supported and always loved by both our Heavenly Father and our brother Jesus Christ. And it has not been easy at all. However, the fruit of a lifetime effort is greater than any trouble I've ever had. I'm a Mormon beacuse I know that I am a Child Of God. That He has a plan for everyone. I'm a Mormon beacuse I know that there is a Home beyond this life, beyond what these eyes can see now. And I'm a Mormon because I know the Lord has restored His Gospel, one more time, not for us to be affraid; but for us to be nourished, for us to learn how to be happy through a troubled sea. For us to be ready. For us to become His children. I'm a Mormon because I know He lives. Because I know He is my Redeemer and my King. And because I want to rejoin my little brother one day. I know He has the power to make it possible. If I let Him.

How I live my faith

I usually teach simple lessons for the people that visit our ward on sundays and during some activities held through the week. Also help the missionaries by extending our visitors a smile, a kind gesture, a sincere greeting. I really enjoy serving my community. I share classes for those students having troubles with subjects such as math, literature, english, spanish, chemistry. I also love to share my talents by giving violin, cello or singing lessons. And maybe above it all I love sharing the knowledge (no matter if it is a little or a lot) that the Lord provides me when I do what I am supposed to do: serving my brethren.
