Hi I'm Nate

I love traveling. I love the outdoors. I love service. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a pretty normal guy that loves being with my friends and family in the beautiful outdoors. I grew up in a great family that taught me the importance of service. Since my childhood I have learned to love the feeling that comes from service and I have been blessed with the opportunities to serve others around the world. I am a college student studying business and love watching and playing sports in my spare time.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky enough to have been raised a Mormon by my wonderful parents. Not until these past couple years have I recognized how grateful I am for the faithful example of my parents. Although I love and trust my parents, I came to learn that I can't just follow their example and beliefs in all things. Religion had always been a big part of my life and I knew that as I would be moving away from home I would need to confirm my personal conviction for my beliefs. After much study, prayer, and countless experiences I have come to gain a personal knowledge and witness that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that the fullness of Christ's gospel has been restored to this earth through a prophet named Joseph Smith. When reading the Book of Mormon I am reminded of the love I have for my Savior Jesus Christ and know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God.

How I live my faith

My faith is a huge part of my life. It's also the greatest part of my life. I wouldn't trade my involvement in church activities and worship services for anything. The church has given me so many opportunities to serve others, which has become one of my favorite things to do in life. Whether it is making someone cookies or doing yard work for someone who is physically unable, I enjoy participating in service on a regular basis. My current favorite service activity is getting a group of friends together to visit with and sing for the elderly in a rest home. I strive to study from the scriptures daily and not only read the words but practice them by looking for opportunities to serve others as Christ would. Christ has organized this church so that those that follow it can experience true joy through service and living God's commandments.
