Hi I'm Charlotte

I'm a daugther, a wife, a mother, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in beautiful North-West Tasmania with my Husband and son. I love to create things, whether it's baking food or making jewellery, to re-furbishing furniture. I am a stay at home mum, and am currently studying a diploma in Interior Design. I love being at home with my son, I feel so blessed to be able to teach him and watch him learn and grow, this truely gives me great satisfaction, and helps me to recognise my divine role in raising one of my Heavenly Father's children. I love my Husband with all my heart. He is a great example to me, he is my best friend.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised by my parents in this church, but at some stage we all have to come to know for ourselves if it is true. I cannot recall a specific moment or event where i knew that what was taught was true, but the Holy Ghost has born witness to me on numerous occasions of the truthfulness of this restored gospel. I now know for myself that our Heavenly Father lives, that he has a plan for us; a way to be able to return to live with him again. This plan was made possible only by the Saviour, Jesus Christ, who suffered in the Garden of Gethsemane for each of us, where he then gave his own life, so that we might all live again. I know that a young boy named Joseph Smith had a desire to know for himself which of all the church's were true, as he took his inquiry to the Lord, he received his answer, I know that he did see the Father and his son Jesus Christ, and that through Joseph Smith the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth. I know that the bible is the word of God, as far as it has been translated, I also know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and his ministry on the American continent. I know that Jesus lives, and that if we follow him, we too can live again.

How I live my faith

I am blessed to work with the children in our church, I am able to teach them from the scriptures and am there to help them to come to know Jesus Christ for themselves, to learn to love him and have faith in him. My faith is not just a part of my life, it is my life, I am who I am because of it, and I believe it helps me to strive to be a better person as I follow the teachings of the Saviour and try to become more like him.
