Hi I'm Edie

I converted to the Church at age 16 so now, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in New Hampshire and I am the only member of the Church in my family. I am a college student studying Linguistics and Italian. I enjoy photography and how it can capture real moments of real life. I love cooking for my family and my friends because it brings people together. Traveling makes me happy, I love seeing new and beautiful parts of the world and learning about and immersing myself in new culture and traditions.

Why I am a Mormon

I chose to join the Church because, unfailingly, the Gospel brings me joy every day. When I was introduced to the Church through my friends, I felt noticeably more happy and peaceful when I attended Church activities and meetings. I soon learned that this peaceful feeling was the Spirit. Through the Spirit, I have gained a testimony that the Church is true and that witness is something I cannot deny. I'm a Mormon because living the Gospel makes me a better person.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being obedient to the commandments. I read the scriptures every day to learn more about the will of God and how I can be a better disciple of Christ. I go to Church every Sunday and partake of the Sacrament and renew the covenants I made when I was baptized. I serve in my ward to bring people together and give everyone a chance to build their faith. I live my faith by trying to be a good example to others.
