Hi I'm Randy

I'm an Idaho boy all the way, I love hard, dirty work, I love to hunt, fish, eat spuds and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Idaho where I learned to work hard and to love the lord. I come from a family of five kids and two wonderful parents. I enjoy welding, farming, wrestling and having a good time with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be raised in a Gospel centered home with parents that loved and cared for me and my brother and sisters. Growing up in this atmosphere just helped me to get started of in the right direction, living the way that Christ would have me live. I was taught to read the scriptures and to pray every day, but these things meant nothing, they were only actions, until I gained a testimony for myself that the church was true. I always believed that the church was right but never really knew until I did as the prophet Moroni directs. That is, ask god with a sincere heart and real intent. I wanted to know and was willing to do what it would take to find an answer, so I studied and prayed and received a spiritual conformation that the church was indeed true and that it is, infact, the same church that Christ himself set up. Having this testimony has blessed my life in so many ways. I am proud to know that Jesus Christ is the son of God and my savior, that His church has been restored to the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith, and that His authority will never again be taken from the earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading the scriptures and praying daily. I am also blessed to be serving as a Missionary in the Oregon Portland Mission. And most importantly, I just try to be a good example to those around me.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Randy
The best way to know if the Church is true is to go to the source of all truth, God. Every one, LDS or not, needs to find out for themselves if Christ's church has been restored to the earth today. The way to do this is earnestly reading, praying, and pondering the Book of Mormon, and if you do this, the Holy Spirit will testify of it's truthfullness by the feelings that you experience.
