Hi I'm Kyle

I grew up in Huntington Beach, CA. I'm a surfer, I'm a photographer, I'm a husband, I'm a father of 4 girls, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Huntington Beach, CA. I was a jr. lifeguard and spent most days at the beach. I played water polo and swam in high school. You could find me surfing most days and skiing every chance I could. After I returned from a mission to Korea, I got married and moved to Utah, where I worked at Park City and later as an electrician. In 1999, we moved back to California, this time to the Bay Area where I worked for a few years as an electrician. My wife started a photography business and I began helping with that full time in 2004. We have 4 beautiful blonde daughters that all play sports and love to travel on road trips as a family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and didn't think much of it until right before I decided to serve a mission. It was then that I decided to really see why I was doing all this. I prayed about it and came to a realization of all the blessings I had gotten from living the gospel principles. The church is here to teach us how to live our lives with more joy. I know that through following the teachings of the church, I live a more fulfilling life. I also know that although I have trials in my life, when I focus on others and follow the teachings of our Savior Jesus Christ, the burdens feel lighter and it is easier to focus on what is truly important.

How I live my faith

With 4 daughters, I am glad to be responsible to oversee the youth programs in the church. I am able to work with the youth to help them to have fun while still focusing on making choices that will help them to serve others and have a joyful life. It is very fulfilling to see them learn to be great leaders, to perform acts of service, and to try their best to set a good example and follow Christ. My wife and I are also blessed to be able to coach and help at our children's schools and community sports teams. The youth that really stand out seem to be the ones that have a strong value system and strive to 'choose the right'.
