Hi I'm Carol

I grew up in Texas. I love my family. I'm a speech therapist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My family is everything to me and I love to spend time with family and friends. I love good books and movies. I like to clean, organize and plan. Some of my favorite memories are long road trips with my family. I think summer is the best season of the year. I'm married and have a baby boy.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up attending The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As a child I liked how happy I felt at church. When I got older I began to ponder about the doctrine of Christ and I began to study and pray on my own. I wanted to know for myself if the things I was taught were true. I can't point to an exact moment in my life when I became a "believer." All I know is little by little I gained my own conviction that God lives and loves us and that His Son, Jesus Christ, is our Savior. I know that Jesus Christ guides His Church through a living prophet and that the priesthood (the power and authority to baptize and act in God's name) is in this church. I know that following the teachings of Christ, as found in the Bible, Book of Mormon, and modern revelation, lead to the happiest possible life.

How I live my faith

I attend church and try to learn something that I can apply to my life. I try to follow the example of Jesus Christ. He is the perfect example of virtue and compassion and those are the traits that I'm trying to develop everyday.
