Hi I'm Lisa

I'm a stay and home mom of two. I'm married to a fantastic man and I'm not going to lie I'm your stereotypical Mormon mommy.

About Me

I'm short and can be loud. I L.O.V.E. to sew and really love to read. I hop on and off the scrap booking bandwagon. I love the finished product but often get weighed down by the hassle. I have young kids so a lot of my day involves feeding and entertaining little people which doesn't bother me a bit. I manage to sneak in my interests often enough to keep me going. My husband and I met in August of 2006 and were married February of 2007. No, we were not in Provo:) We really like going to see good movies together and enjoy getting up to the mountains for camping and hiking!

Why I am a Mormon

Why? At first it was because I was born a Mormon but as I grew older I could not deny the truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I believe it has been witnessed most powerfully to me after the birth of each of my children. There is such a purity that hangs around them that there is no doubting that they are a blessing and responsibility from heaven. I am so grateful for a knowledge of eternal families and I strive everyday to continue to be worthy of it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in the little things in life. I say my prayers and am teaching my children to say theirs. I read my scriptures and have a goal to regularly read them with my family. I fight the sarcasm inside of me and try to be kind to everyone. Each Sunday I work with the children teaching them songs that will help them build their faith and find their own testimonies.
