Hi I'm Flo

I am so grateful to be a Mormon.

About Me

I witnessed the baptism of my ex-husband who was my boyfriend at that time (another story on its own). As I was listening to someone giving his testimony of the Gospel, I felt the strong presence of the Holy Spirit. I knew right there and then that I found "home". This was the "gentle" and "soft" spirit I have been longing for all my life. I got married and divorced last year. I was ready to give up all my struggles to the Lord and he wasn't. I will always be grateful to my ex-husband for leading me to this Church. It was necessary for me to experience pain and sorrow in order to become whole and gain eternal happiness. For a long time, I was very ungrateful I had to so much anger, bitterness and unforgiveness in my heart and mind, mostly towards myself. I knew that Heavenly Father has always been there for me but I just blatantly refused to acknowledge him. To have survived all these years having been through what I've been through is one clear example of his saving grace for me and for each of us. I felt so alone and lonely, looking for love in the wrong places and persons. I became a Mormon on Valentine's Day of 2010 and every day since then has been pure bliss. I am so grateful every day for He was and is so ever patient, loving and faithful.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe this Church to be true. To have been able to give up smoking and gambling, to be able to find peace and contentment and be around virtuous people that truly shows their love for the Gospel by action and not merely in words, are just a few of the many, many blessings I have received.

How I live my faith
