Hi I'm Nikki

I grew up in Idaho. I have been blessed with a wonderful family and a fullfilling life, and I am a mormon.

About Me

I am married to a wonderful man. I love being a Mom. It has always been my favorite job. I have two wonderful sons, and a few other boys who find our house their home. I live a good life because of each and every one of them. I love to be at home with my family. We live in the country which is a great place to raise a family. There is no chance they are going anywhere whithout a car ! :) I love the springtime when all the babies are being born. I am game for any activity as long as I am with my family. I have two sons on missions and two still in highschool. I am married to an awesome husband who supports me in any adventure I choose to go on. My husband and my kids are the greatest thing I ever did with my life. Some of my favorite hobbies are: my pets, embroidery, crocheting, scrapbooking, camping, fishing, history, and watching my kids in any activitiy. I work for a wonderful company crunching numbers. It is a great place to work and feel the spirit. I am a primary teacher and enjoy each one of the great kids in my class. The bring strength to my testimony and teach me new lessons about the gospel each and every Sunday.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a descendent of the Mormon Pioneers who settled the Great Salt Lake. I went to primary and was baptised when I was eight. However, when I became a teenager I become somewhat inactive except for the occasional youth activity. My Dad was an alcoholic and that set up a set of trials for me, and for my family. We could never say he was a recovering alcoholic becuase he abused it his entire life. Through all my trials and into adult I always knew I had a Heavenly Father, I prayed to him a lot. I remember well the prayer I always had in my heart. "Please, please give me a husband who loves me, let me be a Mom who can raise kids in a peaceful loving home." That is all I every wanted. Guess what? I was blessed with that very thing. I have a wonderful man who loves me, and I am able to be a mom and raise children in a loving peaceful home. I am a Mormon because I believe in the teachings and the promises of the gospel. I know that by living righteously that I will be with my husband and family for an eternity. I find it easy to do when family is the center of all you do.

How I live my faith

I find that living the faith is not hard, it is simply following the Commandments and the Word of Wisdom. It is trying to be honest and kind to all those I come in contact with. Serving my family, serving my ward family. Going to church each Sunday and renewing my promises with my Heavenly Father. Striving to learn more and more each day about the Gospel. I love to go to the temple. The temple holds all the blessing that we are searching for. It holds the love and security from a dear Father in Heaven that I need in my life.
