Hi I'm Scott Peterson

I am a budding businessmen. The happiest man on Earth. A missionary. AND a Mormon!

About Me

I am a Mormon. I'm 20 years old. I am currently a missionary. Before I started my mission I went to college at Brigham Young University and was studying Accounting. When return from my mission I want to be a business man and entrepreneur. I want to own or work with foundations when I get older and basically go about the world helping other people that can otherwise not help themselves. When I was 14 years old I took a humanitarian trip to Kenya for three weeks and built desks for students in schools there. It really changed my life and opened my eyes to really how much of an impact I can make. When I was 12-13 years old I started a lawn care business in my neighborhood. I kept it going through high school and grew the business, I partnered with one of my friends and with the help of others we took care of our work load. It was a blast and a really great learning experience. When I graduated from high school I sold the business to go to Virginia to be a pest control salesmen for a pest control company. I did that for a summer before college. Selling pest control was really a great experience to become self sufficient. Upon returning, I started college and started working at a radio station and prepared for my mission. I am currently serving in Kyiv, Ukraine speaking Russian. It's been some of the greatest years of my life, I've never grown so much!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it means I can be happy and successful in life. I am a Mormon because my faith gives me hope when times are tough. It gives me the vision to become the best I can be. I want to be successful in my career, but most of all I want to someday have a happy family. Only being a Mormon, can I reach that.

How I live my faith

Currently I am a church missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am currently serving here in Kyiv, Ukraine. It's a blast. We mostly focus and trying to help people come closer to Jesus Christ by helping them out in their lives. In my life I have really been blessed since I was a kid by my faith. It's made me really happy and I want to share that with others. So everyday on my mission I walk the streets of Ukraine and talk to people about how they too can have the same happiness that I receive from my Heavenly Father.
