Hi I'm Kyle

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at BYU-Idaho studying with Chemistry. I aspire to be a forensic technician. I like playing baseball and hanging out with friends. I really really like eating cookies and cream pudding.

Why I am a Mormon

In this life everyone wants to be happy. I discovered in my youth that the happiness that the world offers me is fleeting and last but a moment. But I could not find for myself something that stuck with me and made me happy always. Then I decided to read The Book of Mormon and I could just feel myself being happier each time I read from its pages. Later on I figured out why. In the Introduction of the Book of Mormon it says that "it [Book of Mormon] puts forth the doctrines of the gospel, outlines the plan of salvation, and tells men what they must do to gain peace in this life and eternal salvation in the life to come." The teachings of the Book of Mormon when applied have given me the greatest happiness in the world. In it I have discovered who I am, why I am on the earth, and where I will go after this life. I have learned that happiness comes through obedience to God's commandments that He has set to make us the happiest possible. I have learned that Jesus Christ died because He loved you and me and so we could live with Him someday. And I have learned that families can be together forever.

How I live my faith

In my community I hold myself responsible to help others. I make sure that each and every member of the church in my little portion of the college community is visited often to see how they are doing. Everyone in this life needs a friend and someone to talk to. I make sure that everyone does have that friend and that if anything is amiss in their lives that they have someone they can turn to for help.
