Hi I'm Christine

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of eight children. I love water skiing, snow skiing, rock climbing, teaching my down syndrome daughter and being a "Mormon" or a part of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ on earth!!

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ means everything to me! I know that Jesus Christ has restored and leads his church upon the earth through a living prophet. I know that Heavenly Father answers my prayers and has a plan for me personally. I’m grateful for the 2nd witness of Christ’s divinity that we would need in these troubled times --- the Book of Mormon, which deeply blesses my life. I have the joy and reassurance of knowing I’m being directed through the gift of the Holy Ghost, received after baptism! What blessings are mine!

How I live my faith

Presently my husband and I are finishing up a 3 year mission for the church. We are serving in Minnesota, with 200 missionaries between the ages of 19 and usually 22. I can’t describe the miracle that happens as people taught by these marvelous missionaries change, and they come to know they are sons and daughters of God. I live my faith by serving, as I do, I too am blessed and changed!

What is faith?

Christine
Faith is the first principle of the doctrine of Christ. I use faith in Christ to repent, to keep the covenants I made at baptism, to receive the Holy Ghost and to endure to the end. Faith has and continues to grow within me as a power for good in my life. It is like math. You can know addition and subtraction, then learn multiplication and division and on to upper classes such as algebra and calculus. The more I have learned to use the principle of faith, the easier life has become and the more I am able to accomplish, just like growing in math skills. Faith has become a power in directing our family daily, making important decisions and in becoming a true disciple of Christ. Show more Show less
