Hi I'm Matt

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband and father of 3 children living in Arizona. I work at a bank and serve on the economic development commitee for our town. I am also involved in the Chamber of Commerce here. I enjoy watching sports, mostly Boise State football. I enjoy fishing and camping in the outdoors. I also love to cook, and I am the chief cook in my family.

Why I am a Mormon

There has never been a doubt in my mind of the truthfulness of the gospel. For as long as I can remember I have known the church is true. There is no denying the feeling of peace and happiness that you feel just being as church and the joy you feel from serving in the gospel. I would truly feel empty inside if I didn't have the curch in my life. The greatest blessing of all in the church is to have a forever family. I am fortunate to be sealed to my parents and siblings as well as to my own wife and children. The knowledge that we will always be a family and be there to love and support eachother gives me the greatest joy of all.

How I live my faith

Currently I am a counslor to the bishop in our ward. I help adminstrate over the youth and primary programs of the ward. I love to see the youth and children learn and grow. I hope to be a positive influence in their lives as I continue to serve. I live my faith by being an example to those around me. I try to live the teachings of the gospel as I have been taught and how I would like my children to live them. It is easy to get caught up in the cares of the world and forget about the cares of our heavenly father but to have true joy is to live our lives accordign to the example set by Jesus Christ and when in doubt do what he would do.
