Hi I'm Della

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Board Certified Life coach. I have two grown sons and have been Married for 23 years to my best friend. I love to Read, Hike, ride horses, Play tennis and Bake.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been to many churches and though there are many good people who are trying to follow the word of God, I felt something was missing. When I had my children I knew it was my job as a parent to keep searching for the true church, I had a responsibility to my son’s to know the whole truth, because I was responsible for them. I have a sister ten years younger than me and when she was 16 she joined the church, I was not sure about it and had my reservation, she was married in the Dallas Temple and then had her ring ceremony at my house so my family could be part of the wedding. She gave me the book of Mormon and I would pick it up every now and then. When my children would come to visit her family in the summer after we moved to Colorado I would let them go to church with them, I was ready to change but my husband was not so we kept searching. We moved back to Dallas and for the first time in my life we stopped going to church, that was not for very long because I got on my hands and knees and in my head I yelled where do you want me, a calm came over me and I went down stairs and told all the boy’s we are going to church any church so find one, for the first time in my marriage my husband said you find a church, and that is when I knew where we were to go. So I got up went to my sisters ward came home told my family I loved it would you be willing to go and they all went the next Sunday, a week later we had the missionaries over and started to learn, we were Baptized April 2011, and every Sunday we drive home from our own ward my husband say’s what took us so long. We are finally home and I know now what was missing. This is the True church of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I love helping where ever I am needed. I try and see who may need help, a hug or a smile, I try and make at least one persons day a little better if I can.
