Hi I'm Janae
I'm a medical student, a runner and a dog-lover. I'm a Mormon.
As a kid I was pretty sick, but through my experiences I gained not only a love and fascination of the human body but of the soul. I love life, and try to enjoy it to the fullest. Life is full of amazing experiences and opportunities. And we are blessed with the opportunity to choose our own paths, to gain from life all that we choose to. It is through our experiences that we come to appreciate life and all of its possiblities. We are given so very much - abilities, talents, and loves that help us to fulfill our full potential. I am blessed to have the family and friends, and adorable dog that I do - who help me to be my best self and to find the joy in life. I love to laugh, I'm a total goofball once you get past that whole "serious" future-physician thing. Humor truly is life's greatest medicine! The happiness of life is simply found in the living of it.
Why I am a Mormon
I'm a very logical person, and because of that it took me a long time to develop my knowledge and testimony of this church. But through my experiences I have come to know who I am and where I am going. I have come to know that there is a God and a Savior, Jesus Christ who love us and desires happiness and joy in all of our lives. This church is established on the principles of freedom of choice and thought, on the power and sanctity of families and on the strength within us all. We are all blessed with certain abilities, talents and wisdom and it is through these gifts and our willingness to share them with others and to receive of others gifts that we are all strengthened and made better. Life truly is beautiful...because of this church I know that I can be with my amazing family FOREVER; because of this church I know that I possess strength and abilities that are unique to me; because of this church I know that I am never alone, that my Heavenly Father loves me and desires true and complete happiness for all of his children; because of this church I know that this life is not the end of our existence but merely the beginning...Life truly is beautiful!
How I live my faith
I hope that my faith is manifested through my everyday life through my happiness, joy and smiles. As I live and make friends with those around me, I hope that others can see my happiness and in turn desire to know more about me and my life, just as I desire to know about them. Each experience, each person, each opportunity allows all of us the chance to show our true colors, who we are inside. Our lives shape our personalities, our beliefs and our futures. And my life has been shaped by my family, my friends and my beliefs in this church.
