Hi I'm Becca

I'm a military wife. I'm a homemaker. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a military wife and a homemaker. I don't have kids yet but I am working on making my home a place where my husband and I can feel promptings and inspiration from the Spirit.

Why I am a Mormon

I may not have a lot of life experience but some of the experiences I've had have helped strengthen my testimony of Jesus Christ, His atonement and the love God has for each of His children. One experience that helped me was early in my marriage when my husband was attending to his military obligations overseas. I found it stressful to be on my own and I worried about him and his safety almost constantly. It was always in the back of my mind. About halfway through his time of absence things got really rough emotionally and I prayed for peace and comfort and an assurance that he'd be safe. I never knew for sure that he would come back whole but I knew that everything would work out the way God planned for it to. That knowledge gave me peace because no matter how my life turned out, I knew that God would take care of me and help me get through the temporary trials of this mortal life.

How I live my faith

I am an Advisor in the Young Women's program of my ward. The group is so small that we've combined the age groups into one class. I love being able to teach all the girls at once no matter what their age is 12-18. I teach about twice a month and I am constantly learning things that I had forgotten from the lessons that were taught to me when I was a youth.
