Hi I'm Amanda

I am native to Colorado. I am a mom to two wonderful little girls and a great little boy. I love baking and crafts. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of five children. I went to college for Early Childhood Education. I have been married to a wonderful man for 7 years. We have two little girls, a 5 year old and a 3 year old. We also have a boy coming in November 2011. I have recently taken up cake decorating. I also enjoy creating hair bows for my little girls. I enjoy to create things to beautify my home and others homes. I love spending time with my family playing games and just being silly. I love to laugh!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my whole life. When I was 17 I decided to find out for myself if this church was right for me. I had read the Book of Mormon and when I had finished I prayed to our Heavenly Father and asked him if this is the right thing for me to be doing. I had a feeling come over me that I have felt many times before and after that. The feeling was warm, comforting, and calm. I felt right about the decision I have made to continue to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know that because of my decision I have been truly happy. I have been able to make choices about having a family and how to take care of my body so that I can be healthy. These choices have been made easier because of my faith. I am able to rely on The Savior and My Heavenly Father in big decisions rather than my own strength and knowledge. This has also helped me make some decisions that without praying to Heavenly Father for guidance I would've made wrong decisions.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be as much like The Savior Jesus Christ as possible. I try to serve my neighbors, friends and family. I try to teach my children to love others and to love the Lord. As a family we read out of the Book of Mormon and pray every day. I also try and study the Scriptures as much as possible on my own. I enjoy helping others find truth and teaching others about the gospel of Jesus Christ.
