Hi I'm Diane

I am a wife, mother and grandmother. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm happiest when....I'm surrounded by family, serving others, and worshiping God. I enjoy.....singing, gardening, volunteering in the community, YOGA and Pilates. A great day would be....a family hike with beautiful vistas and waterfalls ending with a picnic on the beach. I love....the flowers my husband brings home to me almost every day (lucky for me he is a horticulturist and owns his own nursery)

Why I am a Mormon

My family is everything to me. As a child, I did not have the gospel in my home, but I saw the example of others that did. When I became and adult, I knew that I wanted more for my own family so I chose to fully participate in all that the church had to offer in helping me to become a better person and in strengthening my family. I now enjoy the blessings of raising responsible children who love God and are valuable members of society. Of course we are not perfect and we are all still learning as we go, but I really don't know how my husband and I would have faced the challenges of raising a family without the gospel in our lives. The church has so many resources with clear direction. There is also a great support system from other members of the church to help us with our efforts in raising a family.

How I live my faith

I am president of the organization for women in my church. My primary responsibilities are to support the women in their efforts to increase in faith and personal righteousness, strengthen their home and families and to serve the Lord and His children. I love serving with and among the women and find it very rewarding and fulfilling. One of my favorite things I do as president is help plan and organize service projects to provide opportunities for the women to unite together in service for those in need in our local community and throughout the world.
