Hi I'm Stephany

I grew up in California. I love to teach, dance, decorate, the ocean and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My Grandmother and mother were baptized in the early 70's in Mexico, this gave me the blessing of being raised in the Church. I currently live in California and work as a preschool teacher. I enjoy baking, decorating cakes, traveling the world, dancing, and learning.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed to know the gospel my whole life, however I didn't gain my own testimony until I was in my teens and it continues to be strengthen everyday. Because I have been blessed to know from an early age that I am a child of God and that He has a special plan for me, I know where I am going. I know that I am here to gain a body, experience joy and pain. If I follow His commandments and endure to the end, I will one day return to Him. Because I know this to be true, it has brought so much peace and happiness in my life. This is what the gospel has done in my life and I know it can and does bless the lives of others.

How I live my faith

Currently I serve with the youth, specifically the young women in my branch. It is a very humbling experience for me. I as well as two other counselors plan activities that will help them overcome challenges in their life, like keeping a chaste and virtuous life. Though it has not been long since I was in their shoes, times have definitely gotten harder. We really strive to teach them correct principles that will strengthen their testimonies in the Savior Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father. Our hope is that once they are face with a difficult challenge, they will know that they can resort to the scriptures, to prayer, or to one of us for guidance. We pray for them and we really love them. I know that they are precious daughter of God and if I can help them even just a little, I will do it.
