Hi I'm Daniel

I'm a student, a husband, a father, an avid golfer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to a wonderful woman named Cassidy. We have been married for almost two years. We are the proud parents of a little boy named Calvin. I am a student at Brigham Young University studying accounting and economics. I love golfing, reading, being in the mountains, and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the LDS faith and at the age of 18 I had to decide whether or not I was going to continue in the church or pursue other things. I had an experience at a friends house where two sister missionaries were teaching about Jesus Christ and the Atonement and I remember having a very strong feeling in my heart and mind that I was to drop everything I was doing and go on a mission to serve the Lord. That day changed my life because for the first time in my life I knew that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was true and that our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ know us personally and know of our needs. I served a mission and had many opportunities to bare testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel and of my experience in gaining my own personal testimony. This church is true! The best part is every one can know that for themselves if they have a desire and if they ask God through prayer if it is true. I have been so blessed through living the gospel. I am a Mormon because no other lifestyle brings as much happiness and joy as does living the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I currently serve with the youth of the ward that I participate in. The youth have many challenges that they go though that I never had to deal with when I was their age. I am amazed at their faith in the Lord and their desire to do what is right. I look forward to associating with and learning from them each and every week. Living the Gospel of Jesus Christ is more than just a checklist of things to do, it is about becoming like Jesus Christ. I strive to come to know my Savior better by studying His life and trying to emulate His teachings.
