Hi I'm Brent

I'm an entrepreneur. I'm a volleyball coach. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

First of all, I'm a husband, and I'm a father to four amazing children who are a constant source of joy -- and entertainment. I love all things volleyball, especially doubles sand or grass. Homemade ice cream is the best! I'm fascinated with all the different people I meet and places they live, whoever and wherever in the world. I love history, art, new and fresh ideas, sports, backpacking, family gatherings. I'm a perpetual entrepreneur and business owner of a nation-wide construction company, and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was taught about the true and eternal principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how they lead to real joy and happiness in this life and the next. Sincerely wanting to know if what I was being taught was true, I put those teachings to the test and found that the promised blessings of living a righteous life never failed to come. It works every time. Peace, clarity, true joy, strong family relationships, security, charity, hope, faith and love are just a few of the countless blessings I have received from trying to live the teachings of Jesus Christ. I can clearly see the difference between the fulfillment of living a Christ-like life and the emptiness of a worldly life.

How I live my faith

I love and take care of my family first before all else. I also volunteer as an instructor for the men's organization at our church. I try and help people whenever and however I can. I try to keep myself healthy and disciplined, and I refrain from addictive substances and behaviors. The more I'm in control of myself, the more true freedom I have. And that's a great feeling!
