Hi I'm Dustin

Happily married. Future Doctor of Chiropractic. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a family of five and am the oldest of three siblings. As I get older they (my family) have become my friends. One of the highlights of my week is being able to communicate with them via Skype to catch up on our lives. Their support has been such a huge part of my life that sharing my success' and struggles with them seems to help my week get better. Married life has brought an added motivation and direction to my life. As my wife and I have strived to live the gospel improving our relationship with God, I've noticed that our relationship as a result has improved as well. Service in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints has been one of the greatest blessings in my life. The church has also provided teachings about God and his purposes for me as an individual. Most of my life I've been interested in my overall well being, spiritual and temporal. Such interests have lead me to service in the LDS church and the Chiropractic profession of which I'm currently going to school to become a Doctor of Chiropractic.

Why I am a Mormon

Throughout my life I've developed a testimony of prayer and a knowledge that there is a God who knows and loves me as one of his spirit children. In prayer one day I decided after reading The Book of Mormon, to ask God if it's teachings were true and if I should follow them. The answer to my prayer came as a clear thought that reminded me to reflect back on my feelings as I read the book. As I reflected on how I felt I remember several times a feeling of warmth and peace. I am a Mormon because I prayed to God to know if I should become one and he answered. I continue to receive a witness that becoming a Mormon is what God wants for me as I strive to live His teachings and following his commandments.

How I live my faith

Prayer, weekly church attendance, service in the church and studying the gospel of Jesus Christ are some of the most important ways I live my faith. Currently I serve as a Financial Clerk in the church and am humbled every week to witness the funds that are donated as members strive to live the law of tithing.
