Hi I'm Steve

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father, a husband, an adventurer, a construction manager, an amateur race car driver, a traveler, a former cage fight inspector, an outdoors man, a board member of an organization for disabled sportsmen, a Boyscout leader, a life-long learner and a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a testimony of Jesus Christ, and the plan of salvation. By allowing me to be forgiven of my sins, Christ enables me to continue to progress. Knowing that there is a purpose for my life and my families lives gives me motivation to do good, set an example, and prosper. I have a very deep love for my family, and I know that through my Heavenly Fathers plan, we can be together as a family forever. This has become a more prominent focus to me since I lost my wonderful wife, of 24 years, to cancer. Knowing that I can be with my love again is one of the driving forces in my life. Now that I have remarried, I feel blessed to be able to add to my eternal family.

How I live my faith

I try to be a force for good in my community. I get to know my neighbors and promote good will in the neighborhood by having activities and helping and sharing with each other when we can. I vote. I am a leader in the Boyscout organization. I volunteer at various events around the area each year. I am an emergency preparedness captain for my area. I am a missionary.
