Hi I'm Will

I've grown up living in the western United States. I am almost done with my first college degree in engineering. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Currently I am attending college to earn a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering. My wife and I have been married for almost a year now. We are at a point in our lives where just about anything could happen to us as far as our future is concerned. I enjoy outdoor sports like hiking, skiing, and mountain biking. I love being a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the teachings and practices of the church have proven true and effective in my life. I firmly believe the truth that there is a loving God who has sent us here for a purpose and that we desperately need His son Jesus Christ. I am a member of the LDS church because I have felt closer to God and have lived more in harmony with the commandments than in any other experience of my life. I believe the Church was founded by Jesus Christ. I believe this because the Holy Spirit has revealed this truth to me many times in many unmistakable ways.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday where I participate in classes that teach the important principles and truths taught in the scriptures. I serve in my congregation as a membership clerk, a kind of assistant to the leader of the congregation (the Bishop). As a clerk I help keep track of church members, like when they move into or out of the congregation or when someone stops attending church meetings. This allows us to keep track of members who might be having difficult life experiences but are too afraid to ask for help from anyone.
