Hi I'm Jacqueline

I've lived in 3 different countries. I have several mental illnesses. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In my family there's my mom and dad and my two younger brothers. When I have time, I enjoy reading for fun, watching movies, and watching movies with friends. I've been a member of the Church all my life, however my dad is a non-member and my brothers have fallen away since graduating from high school and going off to college. As a child, I moved around a fair amount, living in three different countries before the age of 10.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all my life. I am still a Mormon because the church is an anchor in my life. Recently I was diagnosed with a serious mental illness and the gospel provided such an anchor in an otherwise stormy time in my life. The gospel got me through the initial storm and though that storm has passed, the Lord's gospel will see me through the storms yet to come. I know that the Lord answers our prayers, even those we can't quite voice. I know that the Lord loves and knows each and every one of us. He knows each of our names. The gospel brings such a peace to my life that I can't find anywhere else. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon. I know that we have a prophet on the earth today, to lead and guide and direct us.

How I live my faith

I currently lead the music in the first meeting, called Sacrament meeting. I am also in charge of organizing the music for that meeting on a regular basis.
