Hi I'm Jeremy

I'm a college student. I'm the 8th of 10 kids in my family. I served a two year mission in Rosario Argentina. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 21 years old and just finished my first year or college. I love school. I really enjoy mathematics, biology, chemistry, and geology. My major is Genetics and Biotechnology. I served an LDS mission in Argentina. I enjoy playing sports, especially soccer, tennis, volleyball, basketball, and swimming. I come from a big family and we love playing board games together. Some things that are really important for me are: music, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, family, and learning.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because of a lot of little experiences in my life. I grew up going to church, but as a teenager wasn't sure of some of the things I had been taught. I had to learn for myself. The way that I learned was by reading in the Book of Mormon and praying to know if it is true. I also don't remember receiving a one time answer telling me that it is true, but rather saw the results of a happy life as I learned and lived Gospel principles. The best way to learn if a doctrine is true is to try it out and see if the promised blessings come

How I live my faith

I serve as a Sunday School teacher in my ward (local church unit). I teach a 40 minute lesson every three weeks. I also go to The Institute of Religion every week where I learn more about the doctrine and am able to associate with other young single adults that live nearby. I try to be a good example to those around me and help others out (especially when it comes to school and studying) when I have the chance. I try to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ at all times and do this by avoiding places and situations that would make me choose otherwise.
