Hi I'm Norwood

I'm from north carolina, I love fishing an I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am on a mission. I am the only child. I love steak and shrimp. I also like bow hunting. During the winter time I’ll be on some body of water shooting ducks, whether its in a swamp or on a lake, its no different to me. Right now I’m in the Roseville California mission. Oh, I like riding horses to....pretty much I’m a country boy through an through, AN WOULDN’T HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church more or less, an of course went through the motions of primary an young mens an so on. Well once I got older, oh say 16 or 17 I started getting a little, or maybe a lot rowdy, an went through a time of where I want the strongest I should have been in the gospel. So a few years go by an the time for me to go on a mission is closing in, an I need to make up my mind. As always, we turn to the Lord in prayer to seek important answers, an thats what I did. Not only to pray for weather or not I was going on a mission, but if the church was true an more so if I could be given a answer to help my testimony grow. After a lot of prayer, pondering at work while driving a tractor, or running a chain saw, to watching the shape some of the people my age were getting in I got my answer. From that point on I really considered my self converted to the gospel. Every one is eventually going to backed up to a wall where faith is going to have to step in, an after the answer an signs around me that I saw, I was able to climb that wall an know that with out a shadow of a doubt that this was the true church, that what I’ve learned my whole life is correct, an if we live by it, an have faith, an rely on Christ an not so much our selves then every thing you need to know will be given to you. For me it took a lot to get humble enough, an chastised, to come to the point I knew it was right. But I’m so glade I made the effort. Now through that effort I am happily serving a mission, learning more, an meeting people that I would call family, an being able to teach them, an watch the spirit effluence their lives. I love this church, an the people in it, an most of all how I can come closer to my Father in Heaven an learn of what I can do to make it back to Him. Can’t forget Mama, or my Daddy either, if it want for them keeping the spirit in our house I know it would have been so much harder to get answers an feel true happiness. I’m grateful for that.

How I live my faith

Keep the commandments.
