Hi I'm Darin

I'm a husband, a father of three, an avid golfer, an apple computer nerd, a medical device engineer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband, I'm a father of three grown children, I'm an avid sports fan and kind of an Apple computer nut, I'm an engineer in the medical device industry, I enjoy skiing, racquetball, basketball, golf, and many other sports, and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

Life's challenges can be overwhelming. My testimony is rooted in the Book of Mormon. I have read it, I have asked God with sincere intent if the Book is true, and He has made known to me...in my heart that the Book is true. With that testimony, I know for a surety that Joseph Smith was a true prophet, that God lives and speaks to man in modern times, just as He did anciently. We are led by a living prophet today, who speaks the mind and will of the Lord. By following his counsel, we will be happier and protected against the ills of the day. Isn't that awesome?!

How I live my faith

I switched careers several years ago after being laid off from my previous company. It was a hard trial at the time, but I see the hand of Divine help in looking back on that trial, for I would never be where I am now without that challenge. Also, having gone through that painful experience, I feel better able to counsel and support others who are struggling with similar problems. The Savior suffered anything and everything we could possibly endure in our mortal life, so He can counsel and succor us when we are faced with trials. Armed with that testimony of the Savior, I strive the live the Gospel, to be active in sharing it with my friends and acquaintences so they can feel and gain a knowledge of these things. I love my Heavenly Father, and I'm so grateful to Him for the sacrifice of His Son. I know we have a purpose to our life, that there is something more. This is a preparatory time where we gain experience through the trials of life. It is a time to be cherished!
