Hi I'm Michael Dryer

I grew up in Layton, UT! I have a beautiful, wonderful wife. I am blessed by my Father in Heaven every day. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am a hard working young man trying to get through school while also working a full time job. I love life and all of the adventures that come from it. I love being able to spend time with my wife. I love the gospel and the things that I have been able to learn from its teachings. I am able to be with all of my family for time and eternity thanks to the wonderful blessings of the gospel. I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that God lives and he wants me to be the best i can be! he has sent his son Jesus Christ to this earth to show us the way back to him! I know that through prayer and faith in God and Jesus Christ we can find the way to our salvation and return to live with them someday WE ARE ALL GODS CHILDREN

How I live my faith

I have grown up in the faith having many callings. These callings have helped me learn the things that I will need to do in my life to be a great leader. Sometimes life is hard but if you know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love us there is a way that we can work through anything that comes our way! 1 CORINTHIANS 10 : 13 Sometimes in my life there have been times when people have done things that I don't agree with or that could harm themselves that i have been taught all my life at church not to do, and at these moments i have had to stand up for what I know is right no matter what the outcome may be. Living the faith means you are setting an example for others and standing up for what you know is right.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Michael Dryer
We can increase our faith in Christ by showing him that we are willing to do all that we can to be the best person we can be at all times and in all places. I have also found that as we search to grow closer to Christ there is no better way to do that than by reading his holy and most wonderful scriptures. These scriptures have been given to us so that we can learn and grow closer to our Savior Jesus Christ. He has taught us the things that we should do not only during his earthly ministry but also through his holy prophets. Show more Show less

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

Michael Dryer
Mormon missionaries actually PAY for their own missions. there is a set amount of money that is paid every month to the church so that housing and food can be compensated for and the missionaries are given a small amount of that money back so that they can purchase food, clothing, etc. It is a great opportunity for young men and women to be able to learn to budget their money and use it wisely. How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

Michael Dryer
This one is easy! You can go to HTTP://mormon.org/missionaries and within a few days there should be a phone call or knock on your door with a couple of well dressed people standing there. these are the missionaries of our church who would LOVE to answer any of your questions about our faith IN PERSON. Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Michael Dryer
While it is requested and we believe that it is a duty of the young men to serve a full-time mission it is not a forced thing. We can choose to go on a mission to serve the lord for the 1.5 to 2 year period and while out on our missions we are not paid... in fact we actually pay to serve the Lord. I am so grateful for the chance that i have to serve a mission. Show more Show less
