Hi I'm Taylor

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Georgia where I still live today with my wife. I graduated for Georgia Tech with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and work for a small engineering firm. Growing up I trained in traditional Okinawan Karate competing in tournaments across the country. Today I continue to train, although I no longer compete, and am a 3rd degree black belt. My wife and I love to wakeboard and spend most of our free time on the lake. I also enjoy music and in the past have played piano and trumpet but today I mostly stick to the guitar.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents both joined the Church as teenagers and I was raised in a strong Mormon family. The message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ has always influenced the choices in my life, and as I grew up following the counsel of my parents and church leaders, the truthfulness of the principles taught me was confirmed time and again constantly strengthening my testimony that Jesus Christ is my Savior, and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is His church.

How I live my faith

Outside of the church I try my best to follow the commandments, help others and be a good example to those around me. In the church I have served a two year mission to Southern Argentina, worked with my local congregation's men and youth organizations and been a Scout Master. These and other responsibilities requested of me by church leaders have helped me understand what it means to be a Christian to love and serve my fellow man.
