Hi I'm Andrew

I grew up in Delaware. Live in DC. Study at BYU. Love my family. served a mission in Brasil. Play baseball and do awesome things.

About Me

I'm the second oldest in a family of seven. I grew up south of philadelphia. I now live in DC and am studying at BYU. I also studied before my mission in Brasil in Southern Virginia University. I love sports and learning more about things I dont know. I love my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon and have received a spiritual witness to my heart from the Holy Ghost that it is true. I cannot deny that. Let me explain what I mean..I read the book with an open heart because I wanted to have "eternal happiness. Paul taught this truth, saying: “The things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. … “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned” (1 Cor. 2:11, 14). Please read the Book of Mormon and ask God if it is true. If you will open your heart, you will receive the same witness. The Book of Mormon is the most true book that is available to us. We can each come to know that through reading, studying, and praying. This knowing of truth of any principle or problem we have in life is available to each of us. We must first put in the work. The result is rewarding and everlasting. This testimony is the most important thing that I have and outweighs any other concern or inability I may have. I guess what Im trying to say is that I am mormon because I brings me eternal happiness to know that I will live with my family forever with God and Christ. We know that ALL these things are true. BECAUSE of the Book of Mormon. THAT is why it is so important to first receive a "testimony" that the Book is the word of God. This makes me so happy.

How I live my faith

I try to emulate (be) like Christ. Of course I fall very short, however I strive to "perfect"myself a little bit more each day. In Brasil I served as a missionary of the Church and was able to see how the Lord doesn't take people from bad situations, rather he invests in his children by changing them, therefore changing their lives. I am a very happy person. I try to stay focus and read the scriptures everyday. I try to serve those around me as Christ would. I go to the temple often. I try my best to obey all the counsels of the prophets. I know that the Lord blesses me for this. I love Him. He is my father. I know he loves me. I know that Christ died for me and that the atonement is incredible. How I am grateful.
