Hi I'm Ezra Roper

I grew up on a farm in Idaho, I’m an aviator, entrepreneur, husband, father of twin girls, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to the love of my life, we have beautiful twin girls, and we live in China. I am a business developer, I love to fly, and I love the outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I believe that God loves us and he wants us to return to him. He has laid out a plan for us to follow, and all we have to do is follow it, to be able to return to live with him and our families again. This plan is outlined in the Bible and the Book of Mormon. Using both books helps me see more clearly the message that God has for us. I have prayed sincerely about the validity and truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and I have felt the peace and warmth from the Holy Spirit testifying to me that it is true. I know without doubt that the Book of Mormon is the word of God.

How I live my faith

Living in China presents its own unique trials and opportunities. The Chinese government does not currently allow any formal organization or active proselyting of any Christian faith. This means that my family and I, along with a few others are the only Christians in a city of 6 million people. We are blessed however to be members of the Beijing China International Branch, While we don’t have the luxury of meeting weekly with local people of our faith we can through a web portal, sign in and participate in church meetings with other members that are scattered and live all across China. I live my faith by attending church every week online, by reading my scriptures, praying, and being an example to everyone I meet.
