Hi I'm Arleen

I am a wife, a mother, and a teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mother of seven, and a teacher. My husband and I have been married 32 years. I love spending time with my family cooking, watching movies, and just joking around.  I help support our family as a public school teacher. It is a challenging but rewarding occupation.

Why I am a Mormon

I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church. I have found faith, hope, and strength in turning to my Heavenly Father for help in all of my problems. I know now that I am not alone and that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me and want the best for me.

How I live my faith

I also teach the 7-year old children at church. It brings me such joy to share with them the wonderful news of the gospel and to see their faith grow. They are so willing to learn and so open to the Spirit. I wonder sometimes if they teach me more than I teach them.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Arleen
I didn't know much about Jesus Christ, growing up in a Jewish home, but now I have a strong faith in Jesus Christ. To learn about him, I first read the New Testament and learned about his life and teachings. I found the Book of Mormon Another Testament of Christ and it helped me understand more. The missionaries taught me how to pray and how to recognize answers which led me to a testimony and ultimately my baptism. With all this help, I was able to apply the gospel in my life and this helped my faith to grow. It has been a sweet journey and I have learned I have a friend in Christ. Show more Show less
