Hi I'm Logan

I'm from Idaho. I'm a music student and I love cooking. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and grew up the state of Idaho. I'm the last of four sons. When I finished high school I left home to study music at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. I love to sing, play trumpet, and play piano. My dream is to play trumpet in a professional orchestra someday. For as long as I can remember, my life has been full of rehearsals and concerts. I love to perform. It's hard to explain the feelings of excitement and adrenaline that come with performing in front of thousands of people. When I'm not practicing or performing, I spend my free time cooking or playing video games with my nieces and nephews.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have the firm belief that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. I am confident that He continues to guide and direct us that we might know and do His will on earth. I've read the Book of Mormon, I've meditated the message that it contains, and I have asked God if it is true. He answered me clearly and simply. I didn't see or hear anything, but I felt a distinct feeling of peace and security in my heart, which assured me that God really knows and loves me, and that he actually cares. I knew at that moment that what I had read is true, and that it is an opportunity to learn more about the Savior and what we can do to more fully follow His example.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in every way that I can. Besides participating in musical programs and performances for my church, I was always going to classes, activities, and even boy scout campouts. As I participated actively in church services and activities, read the scriptures, and prayed, I developed a special relationship with God. I learned the value and importance of keeping the commandments from an early age. I'm currently taking a break from my studies for a couple of years to serve as a full time missionary. I serve in the Mexico Tijuana Mission, which covers the state of Baja California, Mexico. It has been an unforgettable experience to be able to invite others to come unto Christ, and to participate in the joy that He gives us as we strive to follow Him. After my time as a misionary, I plan to keep participating actively in classes, activities, and opportunities to serve others. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ because it helps us learn what we need to do in order to follow the Savior in our lives and become more like Him.
