Hi I'm Brittany Lugo!

I'm a beautiful, imperfect child of God. When I look at people, I don't see who they are. I see who they could be. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love singing, acting, dancing, socializing, learning and so much more. I'm a college student who is just trying to figure things out. Creativity and spontaneity are two of my many favorite things.

Why I am a Mormon

Have you ever longed for something more? That's how I felt before I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I was content where I was in life, yet knew there was something more. I felt like my life wasn't progressing. Time would go by, yet I was still in the same spot. I was running in circles. I am Mormon because I want to be. I've learned for myself that this IS the true church of God. I encourage all of you to figure out for yourself too, if you hadn't already. All it takes is sincerely reading and asking God. Actually living the gospel is a whole other story that will only strengthen what you already know.

How I live my faith

Although I'm not a full time missionary, it is one of my duties to be a member missionary. This means that I, being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, have a responsibility to help teach members and non-members so that we'll all grow spiritually. I'm always trying to better my knowledge of the church so that I'll be able to help others by answering questions and teaching the full gospel of Jesus Christ. Another way I live my faith is by following the commandments. The second greatest commandment is 'thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself' Mathew 22:39. This means that each and every one of us should love one another. We should help each other out in times of need, pray for each other and serve one another, including those we may not be fond of. Jesus said that we should love our enemies and pray for our prosecutors. We are all brothers and sisters with the same Heavenly Father. None of us are perfect and we all make mistakes. It's hard to have an open heart and mind for some people, but I strive to love everyone and serve my fellow brothers and sisters.
