Hi I'm Christopher

I'm Canadian, serving a mission in California, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born into a family of 9 children, second of two boys. As I've lived my life I became involved in basketball, football, motorcycling, but was severely injured in my final year of high school. I was involved in a car accident in the middle of the year. Two friends and myself were t-boned by a semi during a snow storm and one of my best friends, Christopher, was killed. I was in a coma for a month, having to relearn the basics of life after. Having to learn how to talk, how to walk, and having my short term and long term memory injured. But through the miracles of our Lord I have been able to recover. I came closer to my Savior Jesus Christ. One of the few memories I have at the beginning of the accident while I was in the hospital was of love. There was many loving friends and family around, but this love was when I was alone in that hospital, praying for help. I depended on Him and learned to trust him. I'm still recovering but still struggle with some of the little things in life, one being smell and taste, but that's alright. I lost my sense of smell and taste, but I found my Savior.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was baptized when I was eight. I've enjoyed the comforts of the gospel my entire life, able to have that knowledge in my life of God's plan for us and how we're able to return to Him. I've come to believe and trust in him. I've been able to recognize His hand in my life at times and it is thanks to the gospel I'm able to gain the knowledge and trust I have. The gospel of Jesus Christ makes sense and blesses my life.

How I live my faith

I'm serving a mission in San Fernando, California.
