Hi I'm Allie

I smile a lot. I'm a dancer. I love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lived in Salt Lake City, UT my whole life in the same house and neighborhood. I have 2 Sisters and 2 brothers. My mom and dad got divorced when i was about 10 years old and I love them both dearly. I'm a energetic person who for the most part loves to be happy and make others laugh. I love to dance and have been since I was 12. But for the most part I like anything that will keep me active like running, swimming, rollerskating, hiking, wake boarding, snowboarding, etc. I also love to spend time being calm like reading or just sitting in nature.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a latter day saint mostly because of the consistent good feelings I receive. It all started when I was just before the age of 12 and my older sister invited me to come to church with her (my parents are both members but haven't been active since they were teenagers). The day I went to attended church with her I felt this amazing good feeling that I couldn't deny. I wanted to continue to feel that feeling which led me to meet with the missionaries, get baptized and confirmed, and to continue in faith learning more each day about my relationship with God and Jesus Christ. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ, it helps me be happy even when hard times present themselves. And as time continues to go on I still feel that same feeling I felt the day I went to church with my sister: warm, happy, and good.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith simply each day by remembering the Lord always. Whether that is by praying, reading my scriptures, or following the will of the Lord. I've also served in different capacities like genealogy, compassionate service (caring for people in assigned area who need help), ward missionary, a full-time missionary, and others. I live my Faith by trusting in God and the individual plan he has for me and acting on the feelings I receive.
