Hi I'm Sam

I grew up in Tennessee. My grandmother is from Mexico. I am a student at BYU and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Samuel Woodall. I am a single college student enjoying the fruits of learning! I am originally from a small town in Tennessee. I have seven other brothers and sisters in different parts of the country. My passion in life is cars. I love everything about them. While I'm not the most knowledgable about them they are one of the few things that never get boring to me. I also love being outdoors. There's nothing better than a clean fresh morning. I have been a member of the church my entire life. Both of my parents are converts. I had the wonderful opportunity to serve as a full time missionary in the South Dakota Rapid City Mission. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life. It has taught me to appreciate the things around me and the divine nature of every man, woman and child.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because of the witness of it's truth through the Holy Ghost. Something i've found is that no matter how much reasoning or thinking you try to do it comes back to testimony through prayer. I've prayed and felt the inexplicable joy of knowing that there is a Father in Heaven who knows me and who has provided a way to return to Him. There is nothing in this life that has brought me more consistent happiness than the teachings found in this church. I have a testimony of it's truth independent of any other person. That is why I choose to devote my time and efforts to the church. Because its true. I know Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and Savior of the world. How grateful I am to know that.

How I live my faith

I live my faith largely through service. I see everything i've been given as being given by the Lord. What can I do of myself? I can serve others. I love to participate in visiting members and sharing my testimony or providing some service. When they are happy, I am happy. I also live my faith by living certain standards. I choose not to drink alcohol or use tobacco. I choose to give women the utmost respect because of the divine nature they have. I try to do that which is pleasing to our Heavenly Father. I am by no means perfect. I struggle all the time; but I live my faith by staying true to it. Even in hard times, the Lord has always provided for me.
