Hi I'm Kathryn

I'm a mother, wife, cake designer, photographer, world-traveler, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am mother to two. My husband and I owned a wedding cake business in which I designed/created high end wedding cakes for 4 years. Now, I stay at home with my children full-time but have a cake blog to teach people about cake decorating. I also love photography, web design, and travel. Before meeting and marrying my husband, I spent a few years living in different countries around the world and have grown to love and appreciate different cultures and places.

Why I am a Mormon

From my earliest memories, I have always known that Christ knows us individually and personally. I remember walking through the hallways of Church as a child and feeling such a warmth inside of me. As I grew older and learned more of the LDS doctrine, that same warmth and assurance that Heavenly Father was guiding me grew. Every time I have been willing to follow a principle of the gospel wholeheartedly, I have been rewarded with a deep and abiding testimony that I am doing the right thing. I am a Mormon because there is no peace in my life unless Christ and my Father in Heaven are part of it, and this is where I feel their presence.

How I live my faith

In the past I have worked with cub scouts, taught Sunday school lessons, been involved with the LDS youth program, and currently help the boy scout program with online administrative duties.
