Hi I'm Brian

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 51 and I grew up in a Mormon home. I have a Masters Degree in Food Science from BYU. I have been working in the Foods Industry for 23 years. I love to hike, jog, read and watch movies. I have 3 beautiful daughters and a wonderful wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. In my parents home we always went to all of the church meetings Sunday worship services, the children's and youth meetings held during the week and I continue that now that I have my own family. I have always loved the Spirit I feel when I attend church. We have always had family and personal prayers on a daily basis. We also would meet together as a family once a week in a family meeting, where my parents taught our family to live the gospel of Jesus Christ. It always have felt right and proper to live Christ's teachings that I learned growing up and through reading the scriptures. I know that I have been influenced by the Holy Spirit to make good choices in my life. In addition I have read, studied and prayed to know if the Book of Mormon and the Bible are truely the word of God and by the power of the Holy Spirit I know that they are truely God's words to man. I also know that if we will live the teachings in the Scriptures we can be forgiven of our sins and be able to live with God and Christ after this life is over through the power of Christ's Atonement.

How I live my faith

I serve in my church through speaking in meetings in the congragations in the Longmont Area. Teaching about how we can be happy by following the Saviors example. I also visit a few members every month to check on them and see if there is anything I can do to help. I visit a retired couple living in an assisted living center. I love to visit them and learn from them. I do my best to have a friendly and helpful attitude at work and at home, basically trying to follow the example of Christ.
